United Way is pleased to partner with the law firm of Bordas & Bordas to present MATCH MADNESS! This is your One Shining Moment, where all donations made to the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley during March will be matched up to $15,000. Help us through the Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, and Final Four to make a meaningful impact on the Upper Ohio Valley. Will your team make it to The Big Dance?
This year brings a fun new twist to the campaign. Anyone who donates from March 1st through March 16th will be entered into a drawing for two front-row tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters on March 22nd, along with two magic passes. The magic passes allow for an interactive experience prior to the game, where you can interact with the players, shoot hoops, and get autographs. The winner will be drawn on March 17th. Another new aspect of this year’s campaign will be the Match Madness donor bracket. The first 125 donors will be entered into the Match Madness bracket and will be eligible for a drawing that will happen at the end of March for an overnight stay at Wilson Lodge at Oglebay.
Annual Campaign
When you donate to the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley Annual Campaign, you are supporting agencies that help children who need extra support, the elderly who need assistance, and families who have fallen on hard times. Making a financial contribution to our nonprofit agency in northern West Virginia and eastern Ohio introduces knowledge, companionship, activity, and help to our neighbors in Brooke County, Ohio County, Marshall County, Wetzel County, Tyler County, Belmont County, and Monroe County. Every donation is vital to the success of our mission and we thank you for anything you can give.
