Seriously you are what every CASA should strive for.” This was the adoptive father for a 12 year old boy who had been in residential care for the past 3 years. The CASA on the case got to know him, investigated why he had been lingering in the foster care system, advocated for a new social worker and attorney to be assigned to his case, made sure his profile was updated to showcase his true character, which led to facilitating the meeting with a potential family and which was successful in creating a forever home.
