Press Release:

The United Way fights every day for the health, education, and financial stability of everyone in the Upper Ohio Valley, which is why WesBanco is one of their largest supporters.

“I am very proud to serve as a board member for the United Way, and humbled by the wonderful support the organization provides to those in need,” said United Way board member and WesBanco Market President, Dawn Zenner-Gaudi.

During its nearly 150 years, WesBanco has remained a strong supporter of its communities, and the strong relationship with the United Way extends beyond simple sponsorship of numerous events.  This relationship is enhanced by the dedication and volunteerism of its employees, including a fund-raising campaign in 28 branches throughout the Upper Ohio Valley, volunteering for the annual Day of Caring event, and participation on the board of directors and subcommittees that help steer the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley.

“We are very grateful for the involvement of WesBanco and its employees,” said Jessica Rine, Executive Director of the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley.  “They are a powerfully community-minded organization that not only cares about the success of our local communities but has generous employees who are motivated to help them grow and prosper.”

The United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley is currently raising money for its 2018-2019 campaign, which provides funding to more than 40 programs focusing on the community’s largest needs.  Donations may be sent to their office located at 1307 Chapline Street in Wheeling.
