At the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley, we are thrilled to announce the addition of nine exceptional individuals to our Board of Directors. Their dedication, expertise, and passion for our mission will undoubtedly drive our efforts forward and amplify the impact we have on our community.

We are grateful for all of our members and their commitment to serving on our board. Their willingness to volunteer their time and talents is a testament to their belief in the power of action and the importance of creating positive change. Each new member brings a unique perspective and skill set that will enrich our discussions and enhance our initiatives.

Meghan Ball of Belmont Savings Bank

Meghan has been in the Banking Industry for about 7 years and currently serves as the Human Resources Director for Belmont Savings Bank. She has been a part of the Ohio Valley Community for 32 years and has truly enjoyed giving back to this wonderful city. Meghan has volunteered for various agencies in the Ohio Valley including Catholic Charities and the American Red Cross. She hopes to provide much more to her community in working with the United Way!

Katie Coffield of United Bank

Katie is an experienced Branch Manager, AVP at United Bank, where she has worked for over 13 years. She has a passion for customer service and helping her clients reach their financial goals. A proud native of Wheeling, WV, Katie graduated from West Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. Katie holds her Life and Health Insurance License and is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Banking. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her two children, volunteering at the Gabriel Project, and serving on the Board of Directors for Wheeling Health Right. She is excited for the opportunity to be a part of the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley Team!

Jill Hissom of the Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce

Jill, a lifelong resident of Barnesville, spent 20 years exploring cities Raleigh, Columbus, Chicago, Miami, and Cleveland while working as a customer service rep with American Airlines. Her global experiences enriched her understanding of people, leading her back to Barnesville with a wealth of knowledge and a passion for connecting with others. As the Director of the Barnesville Chamber of Commerce for the past 7 years, she has organized events like Fun in the Ville and Christmas in the Park, bringing joy to the community. Jill is also actively involved with the Barnesville Rotary and Kiwanis, supports the A Special Wish – Ohio Valley Chapter, and manages the Shepherd Farm Barn and Event Center. Outside of work, she enjoys family dinners, cooking, and spending time with her daughter Jacey, son Jett, dog Esme, and cat Rue.
