A free Human Trafficking Training May 3rd, 4th or 5th. This training is approved for 8 hours of continuing education for attorneys, DV advocates, law enforcement, and social workers. The training is the same three days in a row, so hopefully more lawyers will be able to attend, at least one day.
The training is being hosted by the YWCA, but Homeland Security and the WV State Police are presenting as well. The female human trafficking victim who is coming to speak is a pretty powerful speaker from Columbus.
The training is open to people from the following West Virginia counties only: Brooke, Hancock, Marshall, Ohio, Tyler, and Wetzel.
Funding is provided by the Community Impact Grant of the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley.
Below are the flyer and registration forms.
