United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley and Kirke’s Homemade Ice Cream are pairing up for the “Celebrity Scoopers” fundraiser.
Local celebrities from around the Ohio Valley are volunteering their time to scoop ice cream at Kirke’s Homemade Ice Cream in St. Clairsville, OH, on June 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, 2022 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
“I’m not sure how this valley would run without the volunteerism and generosity of Kirke and Judy Porterfield,” said United Way Executive Director, Jessica Rine. “They are loving and giving people that are also so much fun. This is going to be a blast.”
Celebrity Scoopers include local officials, law enforcement, media, and business professionals. Not just the proceeds, but all of the sales will be donated to the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley.
“We’re happy to help,” says Kirke Porterfield, owner of Kirke’s Homemade Ice Cream. “It’s a great cause that helps a lot of people in Belmont County.”
