Back to School Supplies Donated

The United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley distributed back-to-school supplies to Richie Elementary School, McNinch Primary and Brooke County Schools August 28th – 30th.

A stuff-the-truck event was held on August 25th at the Highlands in Triadelphia by iHeart Radio, Robinson Automotive Group, Unified Bank, The Highlands and Bordas and Bordas.  Donated supplies of backpacks, pencils, glue, crayons and much more were collected.  Gift cards were used to purchase additional items.

Some students do not start the school year with the supplies they need.  This donation will help to supplement those needs as well as provide replacements throughout the school year.  The United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of everyone in the upper Ohio Valley and we are proud to partner with iHeart on this initiative.
