Join us for the screening of Suicide: The Ripple Effect with Kevin Hines. Kevin takes a journey to better understand the ripple effects his suicide attempt had on his family, friends, and the first responders who helped save him. He’s also working to shine light on inspirational individuals, families, and organizations who are using personal pain to help others find the hope they need to heal. There will be refreshments before the screening and a Q & A session directly following.
We hope you can join us in learning more about suicide prevention and awareness on April 16th, Worldwide Semi-Colon Day. Project Semi-Colon is an organization dedicated to the prevention of suicide. Their work is based on the foundation and belief that suicide is preventable and everyone has a role to play in preventing suicide. Through raising public awareness, educating communities, and equipping every person with the right tools, we know we can save lives.
This is in partnership with NAMI Greater Wheeling, United Way UOV, and Jerry’s Walk.
